About Goo Fort
Goo Fort is a top-down base building survival game. Chop trees and smash rocks for wood and stone, drop your Gold Stash, then build walls, doors, gold mines and four kinds of towers around it. Every night waves of silly goo blobs ooze in to bonk your fort, and each night brings more of them. Survive as many nights as you can!
A day lasts under a minute and the first one gives you extra time to set up. Every fifth night King Gloop rolls in and splits into little gloops when popped. Your hero pops back up at the stash after a bonk, but if the stash itself gets gooped the run ends. Friendly neighbours build their own forts nearby, and your fort is saved so you can keep going later.
How to play
- WASD or arrow keys: walk. Mouse: aim. Hold the left button or Space: swing your tool or shoot
- 1 to 7: pick a building (Wall, Door, Gold Mine, Arrow, Cannon, Bomb, Magic), then click to place it. Hold and drag to paint walls
- Click one of your buildings to upgrade or sell it, U upgrades it. Right-click or Esc stops building
- E or Tab: swap tools, Q: drink a potion, B: shop, N: bring the night early
- On touch: drag on the left to walk, hold Hit to swing at the nearest tree, rock or goo, tap a building in the bar and then tap the map
Tips
- Put your first Gold Mine down early. Gold upgrades everything, and mines keep digging all night long.
- Wrap your stash and mines in walls so the goo has to stop and bonk them while your towers shoot.
- Upgrading the Gold Stash unlocks higher tiers for every building, plus the Cannon, Bomb Tower and Magic Tower.
- Spitters lob goo over walls from far away. Bomb and Magic Towers are great at popping whole groups.
