About Disaster Island
Disaster Island is a 3D survival party game with blocky cartoon players. Each round you and ten others land on a small island map, then a random disaster is announced and you have to stay on the island until the timer runs out. Buildings are made of blocks, so walls crack, roofs get holes and towers tumble apart.
There are four maps (Sunny Town, Tall Tower, Breezy Beach and Picnic Park) and eight disasters, and later rounds can bring two disasters at once. Every round pays coins, with a bonus for survival streaks, and the Locker has hats, shirts and faces to unlock. The other players are bots that flee, climb and hide, and you can make them easier or harder.
How to play
- WASD: run, Space: jump, arrow keys or drag: turn the camera, scroll: zoom, Esc: pause
- Walk into a ladder to climb it, and jump over small blocks and rubble
- On touch: drag on the left side to run, drag on the right to turn the camera, and tap Jump
Tips
- Flood or lava? Climb a ladder to the highest roof you can reach. Swimming makes you tired, so do not wait in the water.
- Acid rain, blizzards and sandstorms only hurt you outside. Stand under a roof and move if acid eats a hole above you.
- In an earthquake get away from walls and towers. Falling blocks bonk you hard.
- Watch for red circles on the ground: a meteor is about to land there.
